Electrosalts Staff App

New member
1. Have you read, and comply with the Terms & conditions?
I have read the Terms & Conditions. I do not have 2 weeks on the server but I that will not affect my ability to contribute to the server as a staff member.
2. How old are you? (Need to be at least 16 Years old)

3. What is your Minecraft In-Game Name?

4. What are you Applying for? (Eg: T-Mod, Mod, etc.)

I am applying for whichever position is available, which most likely will be T-Mod.
5. What is your Timezone?

6. Why do you want to be staff?

I am applying to become staff on Fruit MC because the server seems new, but also very well put together. I am looking to work with other people to help reach a goal, and in this case the goal is to get a consistent player base, get a connected playerbase, and get a large playerbase. I have noticed how chill all the staff is with how they talk to players. It already feels like the server has a strong and connected playerbase, and its new. I cannot imagine how much this server will grow with the correct staff team working hard to keep it going.
7. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?

During the day I can be on and off, because I have a girlfriend and a job. However during the evening I will be able to put in 6 hours. So most likely a total of around 10 hours a day I could contribute!
8. Do you have a Microphone?

11. Do you have any past staff experience?

I have been Mod on a few small servers, and I have been involved with lots of Staff Management in Garrys Mod DarkRP. Staff on garrys mod servers are very similar to Minecraft ones in terms of how you take care of rule breakers.
12. How would you deal with a hacker?

The first step with a hacker would be to make sure he is actually hacking. Depending on the type of hack we are suspecting, there are many ways to check. If I think he is X-Raying I would follow him while vanished and watch the way he strip mines. If he is fly hacking that is an easy thing to detect, and if he is using aimbots I would watch him fight players a few times. Once I have proven to myself that he is hacking, I would talk to him about it. No matter what, I would at least give him a 2-Week ban, and if he was not chill about talking to me I would perma ban him. We dont want toxic players in the server, they make other people want to go play somewhere else.
13. How would you deal with a spammer in chat?

Firstly, I would simply ask him/her to stop. If they ignore me, I would simply give them a short term mute. Once the mute ends and they continue to do it, I would give them a 24hr mute. If they join back the next day, I would perma mute them because they obviously do not have anything important to say. If he stays on the server, tping to players and messing with them, I will give them a ban.
14. How would you handle a "difficult" player?

I would say a difficult player is somebody who is trying to push peoples buttons. My first instinct would be to just defuse the situation by telling him to stop. If he refused, I would treat him pretty much how I would treat a spammer. If he was just messing with peoples builds though, I would have to give him a warning, and if he continued I would give him a soft ban. If the player comes back after 2 hours, and continues to misbehave, I would perma ban him. As I said earlier, we do not want toxic players on the server.
15. Why should we choose you over other applicants?

I think I should be picked over other applicants because I am a really cool person to talk to, and can joke around. Just because I can joke around doesnt mean I don't take things seriously though. I would be a fun person to work alongside with, unlike a lot of dry people who tend to be staff on Minecraft servers. I feel as if when I play on a server, I enjoy when the staff members are fun to talk to, and don't pretend to be gods. I just got a new PC as well, so I will be reliable in terms of being able to play.
16. Is there anything else we should know?

My discord is macmacmac#3583 and my real name is Mac.

- I look forward to hearing from the staff management team!
